Programme Overview

About the Upgrade Programme

The M.Div. Upgrade Programme is designed for B.Th. graduates who desire advanced ministerial and theological preparation for pastoral leadership, teaching, missions, church planting, and Christian ministry. Applicants with a minimum Grade B in their B.Th. are admitted directly into M.Div. Level 2, completing Levels 2 and 3 over two years to earn the full Master of Divinity degree.

Eligibility note: Applicants must hold a B.Th. with a minimum Grade B from an ATA-accredited, Senate of Serampore-affiliated, or other recognised theological institution. On completion of Levels 2 and 3 (61 credits), the full Master of Divinity degree is awarded.

Eligibility & Required Documents

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) from an ATA-accredited, Senate of Serampore-affiliated, or other recognised theological institution — minimum B grade
  • A clear Christian testimony and commitment to Biblical ministry
  • Believer's Baptism
  • Evidence of Christian character, ministry involvement, and spiritual maturity
  • Basic proficiency in English sufficient for graduate-level theological studies
  • Recommendation from a Pastor or Christian Leader
  • Good physical, emotional, and spiritual health
  • Willingness to abide by TTC's academic, spiritual, residential, and community-life standards
  • Applicants must normally be unmarried and willing to remain so until programme completion
